Jaco van Wyk

As Owner and Managing Director of Jonrew Trading (established 2025 in Emalahleni), he leads a supply company delivering essential products and sourcing solutions to support industrial and business operations.

Jaco’s career is marked by a proven ability to rescue struggling projects and turn around underperforming operations. His strategic, hands-on leadership approach drives operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustained growth across diverse sectors. Prior to Jonrew Trading, he co-owned and served as Operations Director of Tracpart Mining Supplies, where he steered strategic decision-making and delivered high-quality products and services to enhance mining productivity and safety.

Earlier, Jaco built a strong foundation in construction with WVH Construction (a Hall & Sons and WH Construction JV), where he progressed from Construction Site Agent to Site Manager and Head of Purchasing and Sub-Contracting. His work earned him WVH Construction’s Best Employee of the Year (2008). He also led Bit-Tec, an IT retail and service business in Mbombela, as Owner and CEO/COO, showcasing his entrepreneurial drive in technology services. His career began in FMCG with Tiger Milling, rising from Storeman to Distribution Manager, demonstrating early leadership potential and operational capability.

Active in the local business community, Jaco has served as Treasurer of the Nkangala Business Chamber since 2023, promoting economic development and collaboration. He has founded and operated multiple profitable businesses, non-profit organisations, and a tertiary institution, reflecting his commitment to entrepreneurship and community development.

Jaco is married to Louise, with two sons, a daughter, and two granddaughters. He believes Jesus Christ should anchor every business and serves on Grow Church’s Board of Directors as Head of Finances in Emalahleni and Middelburg. In his spare time, he cherishes time with family.
